on a scale from Matilda to Carrie how well do you handle having telekinesis and terrible parents
Yo, have you ever been in love?
Like the type of in love that makes your chest feel like a giant sinkhole where all of the emotions and doubts you mull over about in your brain drop to and just gets churned up in an incessant warm whirlpool that mixes it all together so the positives and the negatives that don’t matter anymore keep dropping anyway until it overwhelms your whole body and being and it feels like you’re just drowning in your favorite type of hot tea.
Angela Strassheim - Evidence
Evidence is a group of photographs taken at homes where familial homicides have occurred. Long after the struggles have ended in these spaces, despite the cleaning, repainting and subsequent re-habitation of these homes, the “Blue Star” solution activates the physical memory of blood through its contact with the remaining DNA proteins on the walls. The black and white images are long exposures – from ten minutes to one hour – with minimal ambient night light pouring in from the crevices of windows and doors, capturing the physical presence of blood as a lurid glow.
